In the classics
《三命通会》's caution is about dose and carrying power: wealth should be timely, not excessive — "with too much wealth and a weak body, the harm is not light." Wealth the Day Master cannot command becomes burden.
In a chart
Direct Wealth is orderly, earned resources: salary, savings, household assets, wealth built by method and stewardship. As a controlled element it must be managed, so the star's promise is conditional on the Day Master's strength — a robust chart converts Direct Wealth into steady accumulation; a weak one is worked to exhaustion by its own possessions and obligations. Traditionally it also marks the legitimate spouse in a male chart, an association jingku retains as documented classical doctrine. Temperament: pragmatic, thorough, risk-averse.
